The truth

You’ve been carrying something worth writing down.

Maybe you’ve never called yourself a writer. Maybe you’ve thought your story wasn’t big enough, or that someone already said it better.

But you’ve walked through something. You’ve sat in the valley and watched God meet you there. And someone out there is in that same valley right now, looking for proof that morning comes. Your words are the ones they need.

What it is

A Year of Hope

A Year of Hope is a hardcover book of 365 daily devotionals, one for every day of the year. Each day is written by a different person. Real faith, real stories, lined up across the whole calendar, so a reader on any given morning finds words written to meet them there.

You choose the date that matters to you, and that day is yours. You write the devotional for it. And when the book comes out before the holidays, your name is in it. You become a published author this year.

Last year

A writer just like you got on our call and claimed nine days. One for each of her kids and grandkids. A devotional written to each of them by name, dropped onto a real day on the real calendar, in a hardcover book they’ll keep long after she’s gone.

That’s what this is. It’s your faith, written down, and handed to someone on the exact day they need it. It’s a love letter you write forward. And it’s a piece of your legacy your family gets to hold.

A beautiful, unique collection

As soon as I opened this devotional, I couldn’t read just one or two stories. I ended up reading one more, then another and another. Each story is beautiful and unique, and so personal and relatable. I was inspired by every one.

How it works

Three steps and you’re in

1

Choose your date

On the next page you’ll pick the day that means something to you. Your birthday, your anniversary, the day you want to write toward.

2

Claim it

Reserve the date. One writer per day, so the day is yours the moment you claim it.

3

Start writing

The training, the cohort, and your onboarding call walk you through the rest. You are never doing this alone.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Romans 15:13

Before you ask

A few honest questions

Do I have to be a writer?

No. Most of our authors would never call themselves writers. If you have a story and a faith you’ve lived, the training shows you how to shape it into a devotional that reads beautifully.

How do I pick my date?

You choose any open day on the calendar. People often pick a birthday, an anniversary, or a date that carries weight for them. There is only one space per date, so the day you want is claimed first come, first served.

What if I’ve never been published?

Then this is your first time, and we built the whole process for exactly that. You’ll have a course, a cohort, and calls to guide you from blank page to printed book.

When does the book come out?

A Year of Hope releases before the holiday season, so you’ll be a published author this year.
